Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Prize for the Best Charity Performance in Arab Countries

Since Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development values the role of charity organization in communitarian development. To address the crucial problems that hinder charity work in the Arab world due to the lack of distinct institutional work, and because the Foundation seeks to find creative solutions to the problems facing humanitarian development, the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Prize for the Best Charity Performance in Arab Countries contributes to improving the performance of charity organizations and the level of services provided to the beneficiaries all over the Arab world.

Objectives

To raise awareness among the charity organizations about the importance of excellent institutional performance and valuing the institutions that provide effective support to the sector.
To highlight the importance of adopting cultural principles and professional ethics.
To uphold the values of human resources development in institutions and optimizing the use of potentials.
To demonstrate the important role of administrative and financial systems and the maintenance of social communication channels in philanthropic work.
To encourage the efforts aimed at finding creative solutions to the problems facing humanitarian development in the Arab world.
To provide opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and the transfer of expertise and experiences in the Arab world in the area of humanitarian development.

Session One

Award orientation sessions were held in Riyadh, Cairo, Morocco, Sudan and Jordan, with the participation of 156 charitable organizations from all over the Arab world.

Session Two

Six workshops were held in Egypt (Cairo, Luxor), Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Morocco, benefiting 248 participants.
